Grain Silos
Franklin Hodge Industries manufactures the range of Brice-Baker galvanised steel silos and provides a complete solution for your grain handling and storage needs, both in the UK and worldwide.
For over 45 years the Brice-Baker range has been continuously developed to meet the evolving market demand for high quality grain storage and handling equipment. Franklin Hodge Industries building on that legacy have retained capability to design, manufacture, supply and install grain storage plants from the extensive range of Brice-Baker silos, dryers and associated handling equipment provided by market leading partners. Brice-Baker silos are renowned for their robust construction and high galvanising standards, with shallow profile wall sheets and external wall stiffener columns designed for a cleaner discharge and long life.
Franklin Hodge are delighted that TH White Installation Ltd of Devizes selected us to design and deliver 4 off Brice-Baker model E4/7/BOL45 hopper silos on a common entablature for loading trucks with Peat Malt for Crisp Maltings in Portgordon, Banffshire, Scotland. Each silo has a working volume of 119 m³ giving a capacity of 60 tonnes of Peat Malt. Crisp Maltings have been Master Maltsters since 1870 and their Premium Peated Distilling Malt that gives the distinctive flavour that characterises many of the west coast Scottish island whiskies.
This project is a good example of Franklin Hodge’s capability to design and deliver products to meet the needs of leading companies within the grain storage and malting sectors.
Our strategy is very simple to provide our customers with the very best value products and services.
