Yes. Franklin Hodge tanks are designed to act as pump suction tanks for fire sprinkler systems.

Can potable or drinking water be stored in Franklin Hodge tanks?
Yes. Franklin Hodge tanks can used to store potable/drinking water.
Yes. Water for process use can be stored in Franklin Hodge tanks. This includes water for the beverage, brewing, food and general industrial process industries use.

Do Franklin Hodge tanks have an internal liner?
Yes. We offer a range of tanks with tailor-made internal membrane liners.

Butyl Rubber, EPDM, PVC. We can source other materials to suit different applications.

No. Oil and hydrocarbons cannot be stored in our tanks.

Are Franklin Hodge tanks designed for earthquake (seismic) conditions?
Yes, if requested. We can offer tanks to Factory Mutual or AWWA seismic design requirements. We can also work to specific local design requirements if we are provided with the design parameters or information.
Are Franklin Hodge tanks designed for regions where strong winds are common, such as Hurricanes and Typhoons?
Yes, if requested. We have designed and installed tanks for regions that experience tropical cyclone wind conditions.
Can Franklin Hodge offer galvanised steel tanks?
Yes. A high-grade hot-dip zinc coating of 300gms per side
Can Franklin Hodge offer aluminium tanks?
Yes. Using a shipbuilding grade of aluminium for maximum corrosion resistance
Can Franklin Hodge offer stainless steel tanks?
No. Not currently

Yes. A range of flange and spool connections are available

Yes. Standard is 600mm diameter, in either galvanised or stainless steel

What is the standard warranty for a Franklin Hodge tank?
12 months. We issue a standard warranty document with each tank
